Prenzlau (Brandenburg, Germany)
Prenzlau, a town 60 miles north of Berlin, Germany, was the location of one of the three camps (the other two Mölln in Lauenburg, and Hammerstein) provided by the German government for the temporary quartering of Mennonite refugees from Russia from November 1929 to the late summer of 1930, while they were waiting to move on to Brazil and Paraguay.
