Mount Joy Mennonite Church (MC) is located approximately 8 miles (12.9 km.) southeast of Calico Rock, Arkansas and three fourths of a mile (1.2 km.) off State Road 5. The congregation was organized in 1949 and the church built in 1953. There were 7 members in 1959, with Manasseh E. Bontreger as pastor.
