Magdalena de Vos (d. 1538)
Magdalena de Vos, a daughter of Willem de Vos of Oost-Vleteren in Flanders, an Anabaptist, was arrested at Bruges, Belgium, in July or August 1538. Though she recanted she was punished for forsaking the Roman Catholic Church by being buried alive at Bruges on 21 August 1538, which was very unusual.
