Lubberden family

Lubberden (Lubberde), an old Mennonite family of Aalsmeer, Dutch province of North Holland. Klaas Jacobs Lubberde (1769-November 1849) was a preacher of the "Oude Vermaning" of the Frisians on the Uiterweg, Aalsmeer 1804-1849, and Pieter Jans (Lubberden) (1815-1888) was from 1847 a deacon of the "Nieuwe Vermaning" on the Uiterweg, and preacher 1858-1866; in 1866 he resigned, when the congregation merged with the Zijdweg Waterlander congregation, which had a trained minister. Pieters Jans Lubberden then served the united congregation as a deacon until his death.
