The Lakeview Mennonite Church (Mennonite Church USA) is a congregation located at Wolford, Pierce County, North Dakota. It is a member of the North Central Mennonite Conference. The first preaching service was held in November 1913. In July 1916 a series of meetings was held by I. S. Mast, and 22 members were received into the church. A congregation was then organized, a church was built, and a Bible conference was held. In May 1916 J. C. Gingerich of Missouri was ordained and given charge of the congregation, serving until he moved to Ulen, Minnesota. In 1919 Eli G. Hochstetler was ordained deacon, 1923 minister, and 1926 bishop. In 1926 Calvin Ringler was ordained a minister, serving until he moved to Colorado for his health. In 1931 John Stoll was ordained minister. The congregation came largely from an Amish background. In 1969 the church moved one-fourth mile east to its present location when a new building was dedicated. The membership in 1955 was 112, with Rufus Beachy as minister. The membership in 2000 was 47, and the pastors were Brian Price and Vernon Hochstetler.
