Boldt (Bolt, Baldt, Boltz) family
A Mennonite family name in West Prussia in the Frisian and Flemish congregations, Boldt was first mentioned in 1655 at Danzig and in 1705 at Schönsee (Sosnovka). In 1776, 6 families of this name were listed in West Prussia (without Danzig), and in 1935, 13 persons. Members of the family immigrated to Russia and subsequently to Canada and South America.
