Bergthaler Gemeindeblatt, Mai, 1936

Das Bergthaler Gemeindeblatt, was a four-page German monthly published by the Bergthaler Mennonite Church at Altona, Manitoba beginning in January 1936. The initial editors were David Schulz, J. J. Siemens and J. R. Höppner. In 1952 it was edited by David Schulz and H. J. Gerbrandt. In 1972 when the Bergthaler Mennonite Church became part of the Conference of Mennonites in Canada, the Bergthaler Gemeindeblatt ceased with the Thanksgiving 1972 issue. At that time the editor was Betty Wiebe, and the text was entirely in English.
