Woodland Hutterite Colony in Poplar Point, Manitoba, was founded in 1971 as a division from the Rosedale (Manitoba) Hutterite Colony (Elie, Manitoba, Canada).

A daugher colony of the Woodland Hutterite Colony is the Northern Breeze Hutterite Colony (Portage la Prairie, Manitoba, Canada).

In 2025 the Woodland Hutterite Colony was a Schmiedeleut Group 2 colony.
