Rose Glen Hutterite Colony near Hilda, Alberta, was founded in 1970 as a division from the Crystal Springs Hutterite Colony (Magrath, Alberta, Canada).

A daughter colonies of the Rose Glen Hutterite Colony are: Britestone Hutterite Colony (Carbon, Alberta, Canada) and Borderland Hutterite Colony(Schuler, Alberta, Canada)

In 2024 the Rose Glen Hutterite Colony was a Lehrerleut colony.
