Ponderosa Hutterite Colony near Grassy Lake, Alberta, was founded in 1974 as a division from the New Elm Spring Hutterite Colony (Magrath, Alberta, Canada). In 2024 the Ponderosa Hutterite Colony was a Lehrerleut colony.
