Plainview Hutterite Colony near Foremost, Alberta, was founded in 1975 as a division from the O. K. Hutterite Colony (Raymond, Alberta, Canada).

A daughter colony of the Plainview Hutterite Colony is the Prairie Home Hutterite Colony (Conrad, Alberta, Canada).

In 2024 the Plainview Hutterite Colony was a Lehrerleut colony.
