Agape Fellowship (Kendallville, Indiana, USA)
The Elmwood Mennonite Church, Kendallville, Indiana, began as an outreach of the Benton Mennonite Church in Goshen. Benton initiated a Summer Bible School in the south part of Kendallville in June 1952. It then purchased a lot and initiated a building program in April 1953. The first service was held 26 July 1953.
The congregation was formally organized on 4 October 1959.
In 1987, the Elmwood Mennonite Church changed its name to Agape Fellowship.
In 1989, the congregation withdrew from the Indiana-Michigan Conference of the Mennonite Church (MC) to join the Vineyard Ministries. It appeared to subsequently close. In 2024, the non-denominational Legacy Church occupied the site.
