Valley View Hutterite Colony in Linden, Alberta, was founded in 1971 as a division from the Huxley Hutterite Colony.

Daughter colonies of the Valley View Hutterite Colony include: Spring Water Hutterite Colony (Ruthilda, Saskatchewan, Canada); and May City Hutterite Colony (Torrington, Alberta, Canada).

In 2023 the Valley View Hutterite Colony was a Dariusleut colony.
