Delta Hutterite Colony was founded in 1987 as a division from the Sturgeon Creek Hutterite Colony.

A daughter colony of Delta Hutterite Colony is the Westview Hutterite Colony (Newdale, Manitoba, Canada).

In 2021 the Delta Hutterite Colony was a Schmiedeleut Group 2 colony.
