Filer (Idaho, USA)
Filer, Idaho, is a town in Twin Falls County (1956 population 1,400; 2000 population 1,620), located on a branch of the Union Pacific in south central Idaho. The Mennonites (Mennonite Church), of whom there were 101 members in the community in 1954, first located here in 1912. In 1914 they organized a congregation and in 1915 built a church in Filer. The United Missionary Church (Mennonite Brethren in Christ) located here about five years earlier.
