Riverbend Hutterite Colony in Mossleigh, Alberta, was founded in 1976 as a division from the Newdale Hutterite Colony.

A daughter colony of the Riverbend Hutterite Colony is the Twin Creek Hutterite Colony (Standard, Alberta, Canada).

In 2017 the Riverbend Hutterite Colony was a Lehrerleut colony.
