Sage Creek Hutterite Colony near Chester, Montana, was founded in 1960 as a division from the Miller Hutterite Colony.

Daughter colonies of the Sage Creek Hutterite Colony include: Riverview Hutterite Colony (Chester, Montana, USA); and Hidden Valley Hutterite Colony (Gilford, Montana, USA).

In 2017 the Sage Creek Hutterite Colony was a Lehrerleut colony.
