Hillsvale Hutterite Colony in Cut Knife, Saskatchewan, was founded in 1961 as a division from the Springvale Hutterite Colony (Rockyford, Alberta, Canada).

Daughter colonies of the Hillsvale Hutterite Colony include: Lakeview Hutterite Colony (Unity, Saskatchewan, Canada); and Sunny Dale Hutterite Colony (Arelee, Saskatchewan, Canada).

In 2017 the Hillsvale Hutterite Colony was a Dariusleut colony.
