Blue Clay Hutterite Colony was founded in 1998 as a division from the Blumengart (Manitoba) Hutterite Colony (Plum Coulee, Manitoba, Canada). In 2017 the Blue Clay Hutterite Colony was a Schmiedeleut Group 2 colony.
