Winnifred Hutterite Colony in Bow Island, Alberta, was founded in 1953 as a division from the Milford Hutterite Colony.
Daughter colonies of the Winnifred Hutterite Colony include: South Bend Hutterite Colony (Alliance, Alberta, Canada); and Jenner Hutterite Colony (Jenner, Alberta, Canada).
In 2017 the Winnifred Hutterite Colony was a Lehrerleut colony.
