Shekinah Mennonite Fellowship was founded in 1997 in Croghan, New York, USA as a division from the Croghan Mennonite Church. The congregation joined the Biblical Mennonite Alliance in August 2001.

In 2019 the leading minister was Darrell Roggie and the associate pastor was Sandy Lyndaker. The congregational membership was 46 and the average weekly attendance was 65.
