Golden Valley Hutterite Colony in Ryegate, Montana, was founded in 1978 as a division from the Springdale Hutterite Colony.

A daughter colony of the Golden Valley Hutterite Colony is the Mountain View Hutterite Colony (Broadview, Montana, USA).

In 2017 Golden Valley Hutterite Colony was a Lehrerleut colony.
