Pembrook Hutterite Colony was founded in 1974 (Hofer says 1970) as a division from the Tschetter Hutterite Colony.
A daughter colony of the Pembrook Hutterite Colony is the Starland Hutterite Colony (Gibbon, Minnesota, USA).
In 2017 Pembrook Colony was a Schmiedeleut Group 2 colony. The minister was Solmon Hofer and the manager was John Hofer.
