Evergreen Hutterite Colony was founded in 1975 as a division from the Rose Valley Hutterite Colony.

A daughter colony of Evergreen Hutterite Colony is Eagle Creek Hutterite Colony (Somerset, Manitoba, Canada).

In 2017 the Evergreen Hutterite Colony was a Schmiedeleut Group 2 colony.
