Rose Glen Hutterite Colony near Hilda, Alberta, was founded in 1970 as a division from the Crystal Spring (Alberta) Hutterite Colony.

A daughter colony of the Rose Glen Hutterite Colony is the Britestone Hutterite Colony (Carbon, Alberta, Canada).

In 2017 the Rose Glen Hutterite Colony was a Lehrerleut colony.
