The Hermandad Cristiana de Bijagua in Upala, Alajuela, Costa Rica was established in 1993. The congregation resulted from mission outreach by Beachy Amish Mennonites.

In 2017 the church was a member of the Beachy Amish Mennonite Fellowship and had a membership of 22. The minister was Levi Friesen.
