Box Elder Hutterite Colony in Maple Creek, Saskatchewan, was founded in 1960 as a division from the Pine Hill Hutterite Colony.

Daughter colonies of the Box Elder Hutterite Colony include: Hodgeville Hutterite Colony (Hodgeville, Saskatchewan, Canada); and Webb Hutterite Colony (Webb, Saskatchewan, Canada).

In 2017 the Box Elder Hutterite Colony was a Dariusleut colony.
