Willem Luikinga was a Dutch Mennonite pastor, who after study at the University of Groningen and the Mennonite Seminary at Amsterdam, became a ministerial candidate in 1906, thereupon served the congregations of Aalsmeer 1907-1915 and IJmuiden 1915-1928. In the Doopsgezind ]aarboekje 1920 he published the paper "Langs een oude Vermaning," an interesting study of old Mennonite life at Aalsmeer. His son Hendrik Luikinga, b. 1916, was also a Mennonite pastor, serving at Veendam-Pekela 1943-1947, Almelo 1947-1949, and then at Zaandam.
