The Reinland Mennonite congregation at Rainy River, Ontario began services in 1960s. The congregation originated through emigration from Mexico and is of Old Colony Mennonite background.

The church is located near Stratton. The congregation has been affiliated with the Reinland Mennonite Church of Manitoba. The language of worship is German.
