Kaunitz, Ulrich von (16th Century)

Ulrich von Kaunitz, a ruler in Moravia, in whose territory Austerlitz was located, was kindly disposed to the Reformation, though he was a Catholic. Thus in 1528 he allowed the nonresistant Hutterite Anabaptists, called Stäbler , who had separated from the Schwertler (Anabaptists who did not share the principle of nonresistance), to move from Nikolsburg to Austerlitz.
