Clearwater Hutterite Colony was founded in 1960 as a division from the Poplar Point Hutterite Colony

Newhaven Hutterite Colony (Argyle, Manitoba, Canada), is a daughter colony.

In 2021 Clearwater Hutterite Colony was a Schmiedeleut Group 1 colony.
