Clearview Hutterite Colony near Hussar, Alberta, was founded in 1975 as a division from the Newell Hutterite Colony.

A daughter colony of the Clearview Hutterite Colony is the Ridgeland Hutterite Colony (Hussar, Alberta, Canada).

In 2017 the Clearview Hutterite Colony was a Lehrerleut colony.
