Miami Hutterite Colony in Miami, Manitoba, was founded in 1966 as a division from the James Valley Hutterite Colony.

A daughter colonies of the Miami Hutterite Colony is the Sky View Hutterite Colony (Miami, Manitoba, Canada).

In 2017 the Miami Hutterite Colony was a Schmiedeleut Group 2 colony.
