Schlegel, Hans (d. 1587)
Hans Schlegel, a Hutterite from Württemberg, Germany, a tailor by trade, was chosen to preach on January 1568 at Nembschitz (see Niemtschitz, Moravia) and confirmed in the service three years later. He died at Maskowitz (in Moravia), 21 February 1587. He is the author of the song, "Nun harret alle eben in diesem Jammertal."
