Spakenburg (Utrecht, Netherlands)
Spakenburg, a town in the Dutch province of Utrecht on the Zuiderzee (now Ijssel Lake), formerly seat of a Mennonite congregation, which also is called Spakenburg and Bunschoten, or Bunschoten and Spakenburg, and sometimes also Huizen and Spakenburg. For its history see Bunschoten and Huizen.
