Jan van den Velde (d. 1539)

Jan van den Velde, an Anabaptist martyr, beheaded on 11 June 1539 at Utrecht in the Netherlands, because he had been rebaptized. He was a native of Antwerp, Belgium, and a painter by profession. Further information was not available.
