Porter Mennonite Church (Estacada, Oregon, USA)

Porter Mission (Mennonite Church) in the foothills near Estacada, Oregon, was established in 1939 as an outgrowth of a rural visitation project of the Bethel Mennonite Church of Canby, Oregon. In 1956, 20 members organ­ized as a congregation of the Pacific Coast Mennonite Confer­ence. Ernest J. Bontrager was the minister in charge. Services were held weekly in a small church built in 1943.
