Brünnerin, Christine (d. 1618)
Christine Brünnerin was a Hutterite martyr, who was executed in 1618 together with Jost Wilhelm, in Bregenz, Austria. The song, "Von Gott und seines Geistes Stärk, wie er im Glauben führt sein Werk," was written on their martyrdom (Wolkan, Lieder). Christine Brünnerin had not yet been baptized, but was in the act of emigrating to join the Hutterian Brethren in Moravia when she was arrested.
