Carmichael Hutterite Colony near Tompkins, Saskatchewan, was founded in 1985 as a division from the Cypress Hutterite Colony.

A daughter colony of the Carmichael Hutterite Colony is the Grassy Hill Hutterite Colony (Tompkins, Saskatchewan, Canada).

In 2024 the Carmichael Hutterite Colony was a Lehrerleut colony.
