Leedale Hutterite Colony in Rimbey, Alberta, was founded in 1972 (Hofer says 1977) as a division from the Pine Hill Hutterite Colony.
A daughter colony of the Leedale Hutterite Colony is the Bentley Hutterite Colony (Bentley, Alberta, Canada).
In 2017 the Leedale Hutterite Colony was a Dariusleut colony.
