Crossridge Church was established by the British Columbia (BC) Conference of Mennonite Brethren (MB) Churches under the direction of Church Planting BC and accepted as a member of the BC MB Conference in May 2012. The church planters were Lee and Ilona Francois and Andy and Nikki Frew. Both Lee Francois and Andy Frew came to Crossridge after having served on the pastoral staff of Willingdon Church in Burnaby. The congregation held their first service on 25 September 2011 and continued to meet on Sunday mornings at the Clova Cinema in the Cloverdale area.
