Anna von Freiburg (also Frieburg), an Anabaptist martyr, was drowned at Freiburg (apparently in Switzerland) in 1529. The Martyrs Mirror gives a moving prayer of sincere faith which she spoke before her death. In the Ausbund  a song (Number 36) is attributed to her, which begins, "Ewiger Vater vom Himmelreich, Ich ruf zu Dir gar inniglich." But manuscripts of the Hutterian Brethren make it clear that the author was Ursula Helriglin, who was imprisoned in St. Petersburg in Tyrol in 1538, at the age of 17, and not released until 1543.
