Schönbaumerweide (Schoenbaumerweide; now Drewniczka; coordinates: 54.28806, 18.95058 [54° 17′ 17″ N, 18° 57′ 02″ E]; population in 1905, 303) is located approximately 13 kilometers (8 miles) north-west of Nowy Dwór Gdański (Tiegenhof) and 20 km (12 mi.) south-east of Gdańsk (Danzig). It was situated north-west of Schönbaum, which was situated on the west bank of the Szkarpawa River (Elbinger Weichsel) across from Fürstenwerder.

Until 1793 Schönbaumerweide was part of Danzig in Royal Prussia (also known as Polish Prussia) in the Kingdom of Poland. The Second Partition of Poland in 1793 added Danzig and its surrounding territory to the province of West Prussia. Schönbaumerweide was situated in the district (Kreis) of Danzig from 1818 until 1887, when it became part of the district of Danziger Niederung. The village became part of the Free City of Danzig from 1920 until the outbreak of World War II in 1939, when it came under the control of Nazi Germany. In February 1945 it was occupied by Soviet forces and eventually returned to Poland. Today it is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Stegna, within Nowy Dwór Gdański County, Pomeranian Voivodeship.

In the 1793 Danzig census there was one Mennonite family of nine by the name of Claassen living in Schönbaumerweide. By the end of the 19th century, there were 5 Mennonites among 111 residents in Schönbaumerweide.

Mennonites who were residents of Schönbaumerweide were members of the Bärwalde Mennonite Church.
