Lyntgen (Lijntje) Joris (Goris) was an Anabaptist martyr. Lijntgen and her daughter Trijntgen were among the 12 Anabaptists arrested by Spanish soldiers on 11 March 1571, at Deventer, Dutch province of Overijssel. Notwithstanding the effort of the judges to make her renounce her faith, Lijntgen remained steadfast and suffered death by being burned at the stake at Deventer on 16 June 1571, together with her daughter and some other Anabaptists.
