He is the author of the song, "Wach auf, ihr Kinder Gottes all" (Wolkan, Lieder, 233). In Gottmading near Schaffhausen he wrote letters to Matthias Binder, Michael Veldthaler, and Klaus Braidl on 12 and 14 August 1584 reporting on his work and success in the neighborhood of Zürich.
