Klakendorf (also known as Clausdorff, Claukendorff, Clawkendorff, Klaukendorf, and Klackendorff; now known as Kławki; coordinates: 54.0424, 19.2278 [54° 2′ 32″ N, 19° 13′ 40″ E]; population in 1905, 87; in 2012, 126) is located approximately 12 kilometres (7 miles) east of Malbork (Marienburg), 17 km (11 mi.) south-west of Elbląg (Elbing), 21 km (12 mi.) south-east of Nowy Dwór Gdański (Tiegenhof), and 53 km (33 mi) south-east of the regional capital Gdańsk (Danzig).

Klakendorf was established in 1351. Until 1772 Klakendorf was located in what was known as Royal Prussia (also known as Polish Prussia) in the Kingdom of Poland. The First Partition of Poland in 1772 resulted in the creation of a new province in 1773, called West Prussia, in which Klakendorf was located. Klakendorf was situated in the district (Kreis) of Marienburg until the end of World War I, when it came under the jurisdiction of the German province of East Prussia. Klakendorf came under the control of Nazi Germany during World War II until February 1945, when it was occupied by Soviet forces and returned to Poland. In 2012 Klakendorf (now Kławki) was a village in the administrative district of Gmina Stare Pole, within Malbork County, Pomeranian Voivodeship.

The 1776 Prussian census does not list any Mennonites in Klakendorf. In 1820 Klakendorf had 112 inhabitants, of which 2 were Mennonites.

Mennonites who were residents of Klakendorf were members of the Thiensdorf-Markushof Mennonite Church.
