Heijnric Willemse Saelmaker was an Anabaptist martyr, executed on 14 March 1536, at The Hague, Holland. He was charged with participation in the revolt at Poeldijk. Heijnric said that he had not been present at the meeting in the home of Jutte Eeuwouts because the leader of this meeting, Adriaen Adriaensz, did not admit him. He denied that he had anything to do with the affair, but admitted that he had been aware of it. For this reason, and because he had lodged an Anabaptist elder, he was beheaded. He apparently belonged to a revolutionary group of Anabaptists.
