Tobias Bersch, an elder of the [[Hutterian Brethren (Hutterische Brüder)|Hutterian Brethren]], a weaver by trade, was chosen as preacher on 15 March 1651 at [[Sobotište (Trnavský kraj, Slovakia)|Sobotište]], [[Hungary|Hungary]], and ordained on 16 March 1653; appointed as leader (<em>Vorsteher</em>) of the Hutterian Brethren in Hungary on 10 January 1694, after the death of [[Eglauch, Caspar (1609-1693)|Caspar Eglauch]]. Tobias Bersch, an elder of the Hutterian Brethren, a weaver by trade, was chosen as preacher on 15 March 1651 at Sobotište, Hungary, and ordained on 16 March 1653; appointed as leader (Vorsteher) of the Hutterian Brethren in Hungary on 10 January 1694, after the death of Caspar Eglauch. Only a few details are known about his work. He died in 1701. Matthias Helm was chosen as his successor.
