Peter Michailov was the pseudonym of Peter the Great when he lived for several months in 1697 in Zaandam, Dutch province of North Holland, and Amsterdam as a worker in order to learn shipbuilding on the dock of the East India Company, where he came in contact with the local Mennonites.
