Abraham Wynands, born December 1703, at Altona, died there 29 August 1790, was a preacher from 1727, and an elder ca. 1750 of the Hamburg-Altona congrega­tion. He had been trained for the ministry by [[Verduin, Abraham (1668-1756)|Abra­ham Verduin]], pastor of Koogaan de Zaan. Gerrit Karsdorp published a funeral sermon on his death, <em>Stand- en Gedagtenis-Rede over Abr. Wynands</em> (Altona, 1790).
